HALLOWEEN TOVERLAND
During October, the Dutch amusement park Toverland transformed into a Halloween wonderland, catering to both young and older visitors. While the park operated as usual during the day, it underwent a chilling transformation after sunset, becoming a spooky playground overrun by terrifying monsters and sinister creatures.
Among the eerie atmosphere and roaming creepy characters, Lights in Motion was invited to elevate the Halloween experience with captivating fire and LED performances. Their Halloween-themed shows took center stage at the Katara Plaza, with the performers dressed as haunting characters to perfectly complement the park’s spine-tingling ambiance.
The first fire show of the evening, held at 7:30 PM, was a thrilling spectacle. With dramatic choreography and fiery props such as torches, hoops, staffs, fans, poi, and even giant fire-breathing flames, the artists delivered a performance drenched in Halloween-inspired gloom and excitement.
Once the first show concluded, the performers swapped their fire props for flashing white LED tools and joined the other scary characters roaming the park. Together, they teased and terrified children and parents alike in the scare zones, adding an extra layer of interactive horror to the evening.
The second fire show, scheduled at 9:00 PM, mirrored the energy and creativity of the first performance. Finally, as the park closed for the night, the fire artists staged a farewell freestyle fire show at the exit. This grand flaming finale left visitors in awe, ensuring that Lights in Motion’s unforgettable performances would be a lasting memory of their Halloween experience at Toverland.
